Why study Proverbs?
All people long for wisdom. We all need it. There are so many choices in life, so many decisions to make about every aspect of our daily living. The world offers a general sense of wisdom, but the Biblical book of Proverbs offers “God-breathed wisdom”. Proverbs can seem like a book of what to do, what not to do & their related, likely consequences. But, Proverbs calls us to see all of our lives experiences in relation to the Lord, who created & rules the world, who calls us to fear Him & who Himself shows us how to live wisely. Proverbs points us to the source of wisdom, Jesus Christ, in whom “are hidden all the treasures of wisdom & knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). Come, let us gather again & seek the one who is wisdom Himself…. Jesus.

* You may purchase the study guide on your own or sign up for a group book order by August 25, 2024 at the FBC Welcome Center or by calling the church office. The estimated cost of the study guide is $10. Payment can be made in class.
* Homework is strongly encouraged, but come regardless.
