Mike Evans has served as pastor and church planter since the early 80’s. Mike served as Lead Pastor of Palatine Bible Church, Palatine, IL, then in international missions with Slavic Gospel Association, and The Bible League. In 1997, Mike and his wife Jill moved to New Richmond, WI to plant the first daughter church of Faith Community Church, Hudson, WI, part of Converge Great Lakes. Over the last few years Mike moved FCCNR toward transition through the calling of a next generation leader. As the elders of FCCNR discerned how Mike could best serve the kingdom of Jesus, the Lord built on experience Mike has had training leaders in Northern Uganda through Training Leaders International.
In July 2017, Mike transitioned out of his role as Lead Pastor of Faith Community Church, New Richmond, WI and joined the team of International Trainers with Training Leaders International. Mike received his formal training through Moody Bible Institute and Moody Grad School, but Mike maintains there is no teacher quite like experience.
