We miss Awana! It is a delight to walk alongside kids as they learn about God and the Bible, and we miss doing that each week at Awana. Guess what? We can still do that together! God’s Word is something we all need, and we have access to it even if we are not meeting in person yet. We are kicking off Virtual Awana on Wednesday, December 2.
Here’s how it works:
- Kids will watch a weekly video online which will be emailed out to parents each Wednesday.
- Kids will study the week’s section in their Awana handbook. Need a handbook? Email fbcmedfordawana@gmail.com.
- Parents will quiz their child to determine if they have learned the section and memorized the verses and then email the Awana leader who will record the child’s progress.
- Kids will get incentive patches, pins, and jewels at the end of the school year for completed sections.
Virtual Awana means more parental involvement than the usual Awana format, but we are trusting and hoping that this will be a blessing for you and your family. We know what a joy it is to see God at work in the hearts of kids, so partner with us and REGISTER your child.
