While we look forward to being able to be together at the Youth Center, Elevate (Grades 9-12) and Ignite (Grades 7-8) will meet online on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm beginning April 1.
Each youth group will be holding an online Zoom meeting, where we will connect, have some fun, and hold a teaching time centered around God’s Word. We also want the meeting to be a safe space for your teen to participate, so only parents of teens or teens themselves can request an invitation to join the youth group online.
3 things to do to join Youth Group Online:
- Request an invitation to join our online meetings. Email George (myers@fbcmedford.com) for an Elevate invitation or Amber (chaffee@fbcmedford.com) for an Ignite invitation. If it’s easier for some of you, if you’re friends with us on facebook, you can simply send us a message through that platform.
- Download the Zoom App on mobile device or tablet from AppStore or on computer from the zoom website. If you haven’t used Zoom before here is a short video to help you get started.
- Look for the link via email (or through a facebook message if you contacted us that way) to join the Wednesday meeting. We will start sending those next week Monday once we receive your request.
We are hoping that much of our youth group can participate! In the meantime, check those webcams and see if Zoom works well on your laptop or mobile device. If you have more questions about this, feel free to ask! Just drop us an email anytime.
